Taramasalata is a delicious dip made using fish roe. This taramasalata recipe uses easy-to-find and cheap ingredients!

Instructions
- Place all the ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor and whizz to a paste.
- Continue whizzing and drizzle in the olive oil.
- Finally, add the food colouring if using.
- Place the taramasalata in a bowl and allow to chill in the fridge for a few hours.
Titli's Tips
Taramasalata is traditionally made using smoked mullet roe. Depending on where you live this can be both hard to find and/or expensive. Don't be ashamed to use cheaper alternatives such as cod roe.
