Spicy Roast Potatoes
Spice up your roast dinner with these slightly spicy roast potatoes!

  • Two large potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 2 dried red chillis
  • ½ tsp coriander seeds
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ tsp onion seeds
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Vegetable oil for roasting
  1. Parboil the potatoes for 5 minutes in water. Drain.
  2. Place a few mm of oil in a roasting tray. Place the potatoes in the oil cut-side down. Spoon the oil over the potatoes.
  3. Add in the chillis and seeds then roast in an oven at 170°C for 40-50 minutes, basting every 10 minutes.
Titli's Tips
The potatoes should be slightly crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. You can vary the seeds you add to the oil according to your own personal tastes.
