Salsa Cruda
There are many, many recipes for salsa but this is the simplest I know. You can adapt it to your taste and have it either chunky or smooth!

  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • ¼ onion, finely chopped
  • 50 ml (3 tbsp) tomato juice
  • 2 green chillis, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Salt
  1. Mix together the ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt.
  2. Er… that‘s it.
Titli's Tips
If you prefer a smooth salsa you can whizz it in a food processor.
