Reshmi Kebab
Reshmi kebabs are delicious chicken kebabs with a marinade that makes the chicken really soft and velvety. Mmmmm-mmmmm!!!!

  • 350 g (12 oz) chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ⅓ cup chopped coriander
  • 4 tbsp plain yoghurt
  • 2 tsp chopped almonds
  • 1¼ cm ginger, chopped
  • 2 green chillis, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  1. Place all the ingredients EXCEPT THE CHICKEN AND THE YOGHURT in a food processor and blend to a paste.
  2. Put the paste in a bowl, add the yoghurt and mix well.
  3. Add the chicken, mix well and leave to marinate in the ‘fridge for several hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Thread the chicken onto skewers and place under a hot grill. Turn frequently and grill for around 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
Titli's Tips
The marinade makes the chicken really velvety, so the longer you leave it to marinate the more succulent the chicken will be. Serve with a salad or a chapatti.
