Hummus
Hummus is a delicious Middle-Eastern dip made from chickpeas. In this version I use tinned chickpeas to make hummus in less than 10 minutes!

Instructions
- Drain the chickpeas and reserve the liquid.
- Add the chickpeas and all remaining ingredients into a food processor. Add 4 tbsp of the chickpea liquid.
- Process for 3-5 minutes until creamy and smooth.
- Place on a dish or in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
Titli's Tips
If your hummus turn out slightly too runny for your taste, add in a tbsp of flour or gram flour and continue to process.
If you want to start from dried chickpeas, then soak 150 g (5 oz) of dried chickpeas overnight. Drain, then boil in lightly salted water for 1½ to 2 hours until the chickpeas are tender. Then follow the recipe above.
