Chapli kebab is quite a spicy kebab which is great as a starter. They can break up during cooking unless you treat them with RESPECT!

Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) lamb or beef, double-minced
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 2 green chillis, finely chopped
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp cöriander powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together into a dough.
- Press the dough firmly into patties. Place the patties in the freezer for half an hour.
- Shallow fry the patties for 2-3 minutes each side in hot oil. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
Titli’s Tips
If your kebabs break up during frying, try adding 3 or 4 tbsp of flour into the mixture.
